We, the consenting Baptist Churches of Ohio, united by our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; organized for the promulgation of His gospel in Ohio, and the extension thereof throughout the entire world; and seeking to fulfill the Great Commission as recorded in Matthew 28;19, and to perpetuate the ministries of the New Testament Church (Evangelism, Missions, Christian Education and Charity) do hereby adopt this constitution for the Ohio Baptist General Convention.
